Unlike other technologies such as LCD which use just 3 primary colors to produce the image, DLP® Technology with BrilliantColor™ uses up to six separate colors.

Projectors deliver more than a big picture. Projectors offer brilliant color, vivid contrast and detailed images. They're light, mobile and highly connectable to other home theater components. And of course, there's the size.

Technology developed by the U.S. firm Texas Instruments to enhance the capacity of color reproduction of the DLP projectors. Projectors that use other imaging technology such as LCD only use three primary colors of red, green and blue to create an image on the screen. DLP® projectors with BrilliantColor™ technology process as many as six separate colors. By adding additional color filters, Projectors featuring BrilliantColor™ technology improve the color brightness by as much as 50% to enhance color mid tones for true, accurate color reproduction.
