Environment
A Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (better known by the recursive acronym CAVE) is an immersive virtual reality environment where projectors are directed to three, four, five or six of the walls of a room-sized cube. The name is also a reference to the allegory of the Cave in Plato's Republic where a philosopher contemplates perception, reality and illusion.
Type Roof:
- Cathedral - high ceilings.
- Structural - not as tall as the roof of the cathedral but if more than 3 meters.
- Suspended - down from the ceiling in business settings.
Type mount:
- Adapter cathedral ceiling.
- Adapter roof round.
- Package suspended ceiling.
Projector Screen Selector Room Environment:
- Controlled Low Light or No Light with Dark Colored Walls.
- Changing Low to Medium Light Levels and Medium Colored Walls.
- Medium to High Levels of Lamp or Sun Light with Light Colored Walls
