MTS (Multi-channel Television Sound)

A technique for stereo TV broadcasting and stereo audio on TV. Also provides the ability to receive multiple audio channels with a single video channel allowing the user to select the type of audio desired such as mono, stereo, or Secondary Audio Programs (SAP).

The method for transmitting sound stereo analog TV channels in common. The reception capacity MTS is implemented in virtually every TV and VCR Hi-fi stereo which receives full stereo television broadcasts, and bilingual broadcasts including news and weather reports.

Users can press the button of the remote to select among Stereo, SAP or Mono audio mode from the video source.  Audio output can also be routed to any Hi-Fi amplifier or powered speakers.

MTS (Multi-channel Television Sound) decoder enabling it to accept and decode a digital TV transmission which has multiple audio tracks (different languages). You can use the MTS menu to select the language you wish to listen to.
