OHP (overhead projector)

It is the acronym for overhead projector. Used to project transparencies onto a screen or wall. Also used with transmissive LCD panels to project video or data. OHP Overhead Projectors are still an essential in the office, class or any alternative presentation environment. This may give you at least a 100x increase in the time between lamp changes and will also improve the quality of light and color in your video projection.

Overhead projectors were once a common fixture in most classrooms and business conference rooms, but today are slowly being replaced by Document Cameras, large computer monitors, dedicated computer projection systems and interactive whiteboards. Such systems allow to make animated, interactive presentations with movement and video, typically using software like Microsoft PowerPoint.
