Panel

Also known as a panel or projection LCD panel or dish. The panel is the predecessor of what we now know as projectors. It is noticeably bigger than a laptop computer and LCD that uses produce an image very similar to that of laptop computers. Because we need to be illuminated with its own light, are designed to be placed on top of a slide projector (OHP) due to its small size, low cost and versatility, the panels have been quite a relief for educational purposes as an OHP is frequently available in a classroom. Some products have been made by integrating the panel and an OHP. Those were some of the first projectors.
