Passive matrix of scan Twin

The new version of the original passive matrix technology, where the screen is controlled by two processing systems. A little faster than the scanning simple, but extremely slow to respond, can not yet make any multimedia function. The contrast is still terrible. The dual scan is the most expensive in LCD panels.

Passive matrix LCD:

The original LCD, are controlled by a single processing system for the entire screen, the less active or poly-si, who have discrete circuitry for each pixel. This results in a panel with a terrible dynamic color and contrast (15:1) and are incredibly slow. In a laptop computer, the cursor or anything that moves on the screen, it becomes almost invisible until one stops moving. Only one or two projectors use any type of passive matrix.
