S-Video
A video transmission standard that uses a 4-pin connector miniDIN to send information in two video signal wires called luminance (brightness, Y) and chrominance (color, C). S-Video is also referred to as Y / C. A composite, is usually out of a RCA jack at the rear of most of the VCR. The advantage of having luminance and chrominance apart is that it is not necessary within a filter to separate video projector. A filter combinations could smooth the figures of its video image.
S-Video:
It is the way to send a video signal through a cable with four threads, using mini-DIN connector. The two signals that are sent are luminance and chrominance. This type of signal already have video cameras recently, as well as DVD devices. It is also found as a "separate video or S-VHS signal" is the image signal that is sent by two lines, for a picture in black and white and color on the other separately. The connection can be made by EuroScart and 4-pin DIN connector.
S-Video Available on nearly all DVD players that sell, this 4-pin connector generally gives an image of higher resolution and sharper when transmitting the portions of chrominance and luminance of a video signal separately. The signals can be processed separately, reducing interference. The connections for S-video connections generally outweigh the compound when connecting video components of high-performance, DVD players, DBS receivers, recorders and camcorders and S-VHS and Hi8.
