Security
Some teams manage Security functions that allow block access to the computer at various levels, from not being able to operate it, not being able to change the settings.
Accessory mounting enclosure provides security protection behind a steel bar cage for your ceiling mounted projection equipment and help prevent accidental damage. Projector Security Cable, Projector locks, projector security enclosures, and audio visual alarm systems, such as the PC Tab Blast Alert (a modified version of Sonic Shock) will help insure these tools are available.
Networked devices come with their own vulnerabilities and challenges. The following list contains some of these vulnerabilities and challenges:
- Always use secure coding techniques. For more information about Windows Embedded CE security services, see Enhancing the Security of a Device (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa924649.aspx )
- Keep your system closed. Do not let third-party applications that are not part of the ROM image run on the system.
- Ensure your device does not contain any components that could provide external access from the network. These applications include Telnet servers and FTP servers.
- Use the D .bib file flag to prevent debuggers from attaching when you load sensitive modules, such as DRM, onto the device.
