A technique originally invented by Hewlett-Packard for its inkjet printers. Texas Instruments, promoter of the DLP technology screens, using the modulation in some of the imaging chips used in projection televisions.
When combined with Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology "wobulation" allows for a digital image to be projected at
As you can see, (almost) all of the projector fixed resolutions are in a 4:3 ratio format (horizontal:vertical). That is, the projector's internal panel, onto which the incoming image must be mapped, is a bit wider (by 1.33 times) than it is high. This is the industry standard for most portable home-theater projectors.

Each type is a factor of VGA (video graphics array). Some examples are SVGA (super video graphics array), at 800 x 600 pixels; XGA (extended video graphics array), at 1024 x 768 pixels; SXGA, at 1280 x 1024 pixels; UXGA at 1600 x 1200 pixels; and the most advanced WSXGA, which splits the resolution into vertical and horizontal – 1920 x 1600
Wi-Fi is Wireless Fidelity ie. cable-free projection00 and is based on the IEEE 802.11 standard for wireless local area networks developed by a working group of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Will have four specifications in the family: 802.11, 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g. The four are used with Ethernet protocol and CSMA /
